The name is the philosophy. Good interview and corporate work isn't about hype or theatrics — it's about composure. A calm set. A confident subject. A clean cut. When everything on the shoot is under control, the story does the work.

Who runs Coldblud

Eugene, founder and DP of Coldblud

Eugene — Founder, DP, Editor.

Eugene founded Coldblud in 2018 after years working as a director of photography and camera operator on commercial, editorial, and documentary shoots in Los Angeles. With nearly a decade in the industry, his portfolio spans SaaS customer testimonials (DigiFabster), executive interviews (NeoPlanet), additive manufacturing brands (Additive America), creative agency work (i-Solids), manufacturing clients (General Pattern Company), and behind-the-scenes work on the feature film The Misfits.

He was also part of the production team behind Creativity Code (2022), a documentary on the roots of the creative process — filming studio interviews with some of the most influential musicians, composers, and producers working today. Much of the footage in the Coldblud 2026 reel comes from that project.

Eugene leads every project as DP and oversees post-production. A rotating crew of trusted LA-based producers, gaffers, sound mixers, and editors scales with each shoot.

Where we work

Coldblud is headquartered in the Downtown LA Fashion District with a private studio for interview and product shoots. On location, we cover all of Los Angeles County, Orange County, and Ventura County.

For projects that need water, coast, or island locations, we have access to a private sailboat that operates between LA, Catalina, and the Channel Islands — useful for projects where the setting is part of the story.

What makes Coldblud different

  • Specialist focus. Interview and corporate video is the core of the work, not a sideline.
  • Direct to the maker. You work directly with the person operating the camera and cutting the final edit.
  • Locations that set the tone. A DTLA studio plus ocean and island access for projects where the setting matters.
When everything on the set is under control, the story does the work.
